Taxes

The same numbers as the run, split by agency.

Friday payday means the federal employment-tax deposit is the following Wednesday. FUTA is not that deposit. State income and state unemployment are not that deposit either.

Why Harbor is semiweekly

The lookback period put Harbor over the IRS threshold, so employment taxes follow the semiweekly rule: pay on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, deposit the following Wednesday. A monthly depositor would wait until the 15th. Form 941 for the third quarter is still due October 31, whether or not each deposit was on time. Form 940 for FUTA is due January 31.
